On 13 March 2027, Curro St Dominics Newcastle, in partnership with NiDa Group of Companies, proudly presents the St Dominics Bundu Bash, an exciting adventure racing event designed to challenge, entertain and bring people together.

Whether you're an experienced athlete, a weekend adventurer, part of a team, or simply looking for an exciting day out with family and friends, the Bundu Bash has something for everyone.
Event 1
THE DASSIE DASHERS
U/8 - Little Ones
Our youngest adventurers will take on a fun-filled mini-Bundu adventure:
300 m Run/Walk
Obstacle Course
Cycle Track
The Dassie Dashers are all about participation, fun and adventure, the perfect introduction to the Bundu Bash!
Event 2
THE MOUNTAIN DUIKER STRIDERS
Intermediate
Ready to take on the next level?
250 m Swim
2.5 km Run
10 km Cycle
Participants can enter individually and complete all three disciplines, or enter as a three-person team, with one participant completing each discipline.
Whether you're racing against the clock or taking on the challenge with your friends, the Mountain Duiker Striders will put your endurance, determination and teamwork to the test.
Event 3
THE MOUNTAIN TRAILBLAZERS
Senior
For those ready to take on the ultimate Bundu challenge:
500 m Swim
5 km Run
20 km Cycle
Take on the full challenge as an individual or gather your friends and enter as a three-person team* consisting of a swimmer, runner and cyclist.
The Mountain Trailblazers are ready to push their limits and conquer the challenge!
MAKE A WEEKEND OF IT!
Why make it just a race day?
With onsite camping facilities and hotel accommodation available at Vulintaba ANEW Resort, you can turn your Bundu Bash experience into a full weekend adventure.
Bring the family, pitch your tent, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and soak up the atmosphere before and after the event.
Accommodation is subject to availability and should be arranged directly with Vulintaba ANEW Resort.
REGISTRATION & RACE-PACK COLLECTION
Registration and race-pack collection will take place on Friday, 12 March 2027, at Vulintaba ANEW Resort.
All participants will be required to register and collect their race packs before race day. Further details regarding registration times and procedures will be communicated to participants closer to the event.
