Spring is coming to Hermitake. Join us for the inaugural The Spring Affair – a celebration of spring, beautiful gardens, good food, fine wine and Hermitake’s first birthday.

At the heart of the day is an El Niño Garden Masterclass with Arina Duvenhage, offering practical ways to create a healthier, more resilient garden as we head towards the warmer months. Learn more about soil health, smarter watering, encouraging deeper root systems and creating shade, as well as some of the everyday items from your kitchen that can be put to surprisingly good use in the garden.

Beyond the masterclass, guests can spend the day browsing a carefully curated collection of growers, nurseries, garden specialists, makers and lifestyle exhibitors. Expect plants, pots, garden tools and outdoor pieces alongside selected finds for the table, pantry and home – with exhibitors selling directly on the day.

Come for the garden inspiration and stay for a relaxed spring afternoon at Hermitake.

A light meal and refreshments are included in your ticket.

Hermitake’s wines and other drinks will be available to purchase separately throughout the day.

With attendance intentionally limited to 100 guests, The Spring Affair is designed to be an intimate day of learning, discovering, eating, drinking and enjoying the arrival of spring in the Riebeek Valley.
