THE COMEDIAN Winner of the 2010 Graca Comedy Showdown in Cape Town, Mum-z is a multi talented award winning comedian whose involvement with ZA News has earned him 2 Interntional Emmy Nominations (Best TV Comedy) and 4 SAFTA Awards (Best Ensemble Cast in a TV comedy series, Best TV comedy series 2 times). He was the first comedian in SA to make the semi finals of SA's Got Talent. He has performed at Blacks Only 6 times, the Real Heavyweight comedy jam twice, Cape Town international comedy Festival, Rocking the daisies, Cape Town’s own Mind The Gap Comedy Show, The Soweto Comedy Festival (twice), 2007 Arts Alive Festival as well as being the host of the South African Blog Awards in 2010. In 2020, while being stuck in Russia during covid, he became the 2020 Champion of English Comedy in Moscow. His humour can best be described as thought provoking and intriguing and his stage presence is undeniably powerful. His talents have allowed him to perform for corporate clients including: The Presidency, The DA (MPs and MPLs), Pernod Ricard, Sanlam, Alexander Forbes, SABC, Momentum, Intervate, CPUT, Vodacom and many others.
