What began as an annual art exhibition at Raphaeli Waldorf has grown and blossomed into something more. This year we will be hosting a full-day Arts Festival on 19 September 2026, inspired by Rudolf Steiner's Seven Lively Arts, open to our whole community and the wider Plettenberg Bay public. These arts are core to the Waldorf approach to learning. They include:

- Music
- Speech (Storytelling/Poetry)
- Movement (Eurythmy)
- Drawing
- Drama
They embody Steiner's concept of "bringing about the working together of thinking, feeling and willing", thus introducing the arts into all of our teaching and learning.
Alongside our visual arts exhibition, the day will also include live performances by our children and community members, hands-on art workshops, immersive creative experiences, and fun crafts and activities for all ages.
