CareerBuild
About
CareerBuild is a registered South African Non-Profit Organization dedicated to raising a generation of youth who are empowered, informed, and equipped to build our great nation.
In a country where youth unemployment is a critical challenge, we bridge the gap between high school education and meaningful participation in the economy. We help Grade 9–12 learners and community youth discover their God-given talents, personality, and purpose, equipping them to transition successfully into tertiary study, employment, or entrepreneurship.
What We Do
- In-School Programmes (Grades 9–12): Guiding learners through aptitude discovery, subject selection, actionable step-by-step career plans, tertiary/NSFAS application support, and entrepreneurship training.
- Deep Rural & Community Reach: Partnering with schools, churches, and local leaders in townships and unreached rural areas to deliver hands-on mentorship where career guidance is virtually non-existent.
- Network & Mentorship: Connecting young people directly with virtual coaches, industry professionals, and corporate partners.
Our Proven Track Record
- 19+ Years of Impact: Operating since 2007, delivering expert-researched programmes in career psychology, recruitment, and guidance.
- 12,000+ Young Lives Transformed: Reaching learners across Gauteng, North West, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, and beyond.
- 100% Direct Impact Model: We operate with a lean organisational structure—every cent received for our programmes goes directly into direct delivery (workbooks, facilitation, certificates, and starter kits for young entrepreneurs).
