Perhaps it's no coincidence that this gathering takes place during my birthday month. For me, it's a reminder that the greatest gift isn't another year of life, but the purpose God has woven into every step of the journey. It is my prayer that this morning becomes part of your journey too.

This September, during Heritage Month, we'll celebrate the greatest inheritance we can leave behind—not possessions or achievements, but a legacy of faith, courage, surrender and hope for the generations that follow.
