Founded in 2010, StateoftheART is an online-first gallery dedicated to connecting collectors with exceptional contemporary South African art. Representing established and emerging artists from across the country, the gallery offers a thoughtfully curated selection of original paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture and ceramics.

The gallery's Stanford Salon presents a programme of intimate exhibitions and collector events within a contemporary home on the banks of the Klein River in Stanford. An alternative to the traditional white-cube gallery, the Stanford Salon invites visitors to experience art in a welcoming domestic setting, demonstrating how original works can transform the spaces we live in.
