Whiskey Creek Wines

About

Eleven Wine Bar x Whiskey Creek Wines present the Winter Wine Series.

Four intimate, ticketed evenings on Main Street, Plettenberg Bay, running from 11 to 19 July 2026.

Eleven is the only venue in Plettenberg Bay pouring exclusively local Wine of Origin wines. Every bottle behind the bar comes from the Plett Wine Route, South Africa's most north-eastern wine-producing region, where nine farms across The Crags and surrounds produce award-winning Cap Classiques, Chenin Blancs, Pinotage, Pinot Noir, and more.

The Winter Wine Series brings these wines to the table paired with Eleven's kitchen during the school holidays and the Knysna Oyster Festival. From a guided tasting of wines that wrote Plett's firsts, to a live sabrage demonstration, to a terroir comparison of roses and Cap Classiques from across the bay, each evening is limited to 28 to 30 seats and designed to feel like the kind of night you remember.

Whiskey Creek Wines is a family-owned wine farm in The Crags, Plettenberg Bay. The Wilson family were the first to commercially produce Pinotage, Pinotage Rose, and Chenin Blanc in Plettenberg Bay, and the first to produce a Chenin Blanc Cap Classique in the Garden Route. Their wines are made by the region's founding winemaker, with low sulphites and nothing that does not belong.
