SHAMANIC TEMPLE
WHAT IS SHAMANIC TEMPLE?
Shamanic Temple is a sacred container for collective transformation, sexuality, and shadow integration—held in connection with nature, the elements, and the non-dual truth that binds all beings. We are not separate from the sacred. Your body is not separate from your spirit. Your desire is not separate from your healing.
In a Shamanic Temple, we create a space where the erotic, the spiritual, and the psychological meet as one unified practice. We work with the ancient knowing that initiation—real, transformative initiation—happens in groups, in sacred space, in the presence of witness and co-regulation.
This is not therapy you attend. This is initiation you participate in.
THE SHAMANIC PRINCIPLE
At the heart of shamanic practice is a simple truth: everything is alive, everything is connected, and transformation happens through ceremony.
In our temples, we bring this principle into the modern, embodied, sexually-liberated context. We acknowledge that:
- Nature and the elements are not metaphors. They are alive and present in the room—in the earth beneath you, the air you breathe, the water that moves through your body, the fire of your desire and transformation.
- The erotic is sacred. Sexuality is not a side effect of healing; it is a gateway to it. Desire, pleasure, arousal, intimacy—these are not distractions from spiritual work. They are spiritual work.
- The shadow is the doorway. What you've been taught to hide, shame, or fear—your rage, your hunger, your wildness, your need—is exactly where the initiation begins. We don't transcend the shadow; we integrate it.
- Non-duality is not abstract. It means: you are not broken, healing is not about fixing, and the thing you think is your problem is often the exact opening you needed. Duality itself is the illusion—sexual and spiritual are one truth, power and vulnerability arise together, life and death are part of the same breath.
- The body holds wisdom. Your nervous system knows. Your genitals know. Your skin knows. We work with the somatic intelligence, not against it.
THE QUALITY OF THE SPACE
Before we talk about what happens in Shamanic Temple, we want to speak directly to something many people feel: fear. Discomfort. The vulnerability of showing up to something this real, this embodied, this honest about sexuality and shadow.
If you are afraid, that is not a sign this is not for you. It is often a sign that it is exactly for you.
Here is what you need to know: We are not here to fix you. We are here to remember with you that you were never broken. Your desire is not your shame. Your power is not your danger. Your wildness is not your pathology.
The space itself is held with a deep, unshaming steadiness. People tend to exhale when they arrive—not because this is safe from challenge, but because they recognize they are truly seen. There is a natural sensitivity to the edges you meet within yourself—the places where you feel exposed, uncertain, raw. The facilitation is designed to make the space feel reachable, even when it's difficult. Even when you are meeting something you've been afraid of.
You will not be rushed. You will not be judged. You will not be pushed beyond what your nervous system can metabolise. And you will be held with a presence that understands: Yes, this is hard. And you are capable. And you are safe here.
This is not theory. This is the felt experience of being witnessed, without shame, in a container designed for your liberation.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A SHAMANIC TEMPLE
When you enter a Shamanic Temple, you enter a field. This is not metaphorical.
Nervous System Shift: The container creates safety so profound that your nervous system can relax into parasympathetic activation. When you are not in fight-or-flight, what has been defended becomes available. What has been hidden can emerge.
Relational Alchemy: You are not alone. In the presence of others who are also willing to show up authentically, something shifts. Your nervous system begins to regulate through co-presence—what neuroscience calls polyvagal activation, what shamanism calls tending the field together. When one person softens, others soften. When one person claims their voice, it becomes easier for others to claim theirs. This is not metaphorical. This is biological. This is sacred.
Shadow Integration: Shamanic work is not about transcendence. It is about wholeness. We bring our whole selves—our desire, our rage, our vulnerability, our power—into the room. In ceremony, what has been split off can be reclaimed. What has been shamed can be honored. What has been hidden can finally be witnessed and welcomed home.
Initiation through Embodiment: Real initiation is not intellectual. It happens in the body, in the nervous system, in the presence of the sacred and the erotic held as one truth. You will not think your way into transformation here. You will feel your way through it. And in that feeling—in the aliveness that emerges—you will remember who you have always been.
THE TEMPLE OFFERINGS
All Shamanic Temples operate under the same principles, with different thresholds and focuses:
Queer Temple Nights (Men's | Women's | Mixed) For people of all genders, sexual orientations, and expressions who are ready to explore authentic relating, desire, and belonging in spaces designed specifically for queer wisdom and relational diversity. These temples celebrate the specific aliveness that emerges when people outside the hetero-patriarchal norm gather to claim their full selves.
Kink Temple For those called to explore power, sensation, surrender, and dominion—not as pathology, but as sacred expressions of the erotic. Kink is a language; in temple, we speak it as prayer.
Ropes Temple The ancient art of rope bondage, held as meditation, ritual, and erotic ceremony. Restraint becomes release. Vulnerability becomes power.
Trauma & Shadow Temple For those ready to face what has been hidden or hurt—in the presence of the sacred container and witness. Shadow work is not about darkness; it is about wholeness.
Body Worship Temple Sensation, touch, reverence, and the sacredness of the physical form. Your body is not something to transcend; it is something to worship.
Archetype Temple We are all moved by archetypal forces. In this temple, we work directly with these mythological patterns that live in the body and shape our choices, our desires, our relationships. Through embodied exploration, you begin to understand which archetypes are driving you—and which ones you've abandoned. This is soul-level reclamation.
Sister Wound & Feminine Integration For those ready to do the deeper relational work—healing the splits between women, integrating the feminine (in all genders), and reclaiming authentic sisterhood and female power. This is lineage work. This is where we remember that the feminine is not soft; it is fierce, generative, and unstoppable.
Elements & Integration Temples Working directly with the shamanic elements—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and the Fifth Element (Spirit). For those with established practice and nervous system capacity who are ready to go deeper into the mysteries, to let the elements move through you, and to integrate what emerges on the other side.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Shamanic Temple is for:
People of all genders, sexual orientations, and relational structures who are ready to claim their full humanity—sexual, spiritual, psychological, and alive.
Trauma survivors ready to integrate what has happened, not just manage it.
The spiritually curious who are tired of separating sex from spirit, body from soul, desire from the sacred.
Those in relational diversity—polyamory, nonmonogamy, queer partnerships, chosen family—who want to explore authentic relating beyond monogamous or heteronormative frameworks.
The embodied explorers ready to learn that healing happens in the body, in sensation, in the nervous system—not just in the mind.
People ready for real initiation, not just information. You are willing to show up, be witnessed, and let yourself be genuinely transformed.
Consent & Safety: Shamanic Temple is held in full consent culture. Boundaries are sacred. Safewords and opt-out are always available. We work with trauma-informed principles because many of us carry trauma—and that is not a barrier to entry. That is why we are here.
WHY SHAMANIC TEMPLE?
In a world that has fragmented the erotic from the sacred, the body from the spirit, the shadow from the light, Shamanic Temple offers coherence.
In ceremony, in the presence of the sacred, in co-regulation with others, in the ancient knowing that we are all made of the same elements and connected to the same Earth—transformation becomes possible.
This is Shamanic Temple.
HOW TO EXPLORE
Each temple has its own rhythm, threshold, and facilitation. Some are entry-level; some require prior experience or capacity-building.
Check out individual temple descriptions to find the one that calls to you. Or reach out—we are here to help you find your entry point.
All temples are held with: Consent culture. Trauma-informed facilitation. Nervous system awareness. Connection to nature and the elements. The truth that you are whole, exactly as you are, and this ceremony is an invitation to remember that.
In a world that tells you to fragment yourself—to separate the sexual from the spiritual, the powerful from the vulnerable, the shadow from the light—Shamanic Temple offers a different way. Here, you come whole. Here, you come home. Here, transformation is not something we do to you. It is something we remember together.
