About
Sedgefield will come alive with theatre, comedy, music, workshops, and cultural experiences when the inaugural En Route Arts Festival takes place from 19–24 June.
The festival will feature 25 performances across multiple venues in town, showcasing a diverse mix of established artists and emerging talent. The festival’s name is inspired by the opportunity of hosting performers in Sedgefield whilst they are on tour in the Garden Route. The festival also offers workshops and guided tours celebrating Sedgefield’s natural and artistic heritage. Activities include a fossil trackway walk, a sunset photography excursion, telephone wire jewelry classes, a writing workshop, pottery painting and the Masithandane Mosaic Tour.
