SAVF Rethabile Klersdorp Kinderhuis

The Children’s Home is a 24 hour residential care facility that renders primary care, therapeutic services and development programmes to 150 children from the North West Province. The children have been found in need of care and protection, in terms of the Children’s Act 38 of 2008.

The SAVF Rethabile Klerksdorp CYCC is dependent on donations from the community, businesses and companies to help ensure a homely environment where children can grow and strive.

We have 8 House units on our premisses with 15 – 20 children in each house unit. A typical day in the CYCC includes the following:

• Providing 3 Meals a day.
• Ensuring medical/psychological/physical care
• Transporting children to various schools/sporting activities.
• Transporting children to church/recreational activities
• Providing adequate school wear and everyday wear.

Overall we aim to provide the best possible care and restore dignity to all of our 150 children.
