iThongo_Experience (Shaman Chant)

iThongo_Experience Presents Igxakusha eNtungo is a collaborative poetic and musical performance by Shaman Chant and Zanzolo, two isiXhosa poets whose work is deeply rooted in the preservation, celebration, and contemporary expression of the isiXhosa language.

The production brings together indigenous poetry, chant, rhythm, and storytelling to create an immersive cultural experience that honours Xhosa oral traditions while presenting them through a modern performance format. Through powerful spoken word, musical textures, and ancestral invocation, the artists explore themes of identity, memory, spirituality, and linguistic heritage.
