AfrikaBurn is the spectacular result of the creative expression of participants who gather once a year in the Tankwa Karoo to create a temporary city of art, theme camps, costume, music and performance.

Afrika Burn was outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed the event, the concept, the execution and venue. As my first Afrika Burn, event I will always remember the complete contrast from city life as i have always known, and the complete contrast alternate mind set adopted there. It is place for creative expressions, as big and as bold as you want it to be. there is no judgement. I loved the idea of there being no money and little alcohol intake. It made the event a lot more relaxed with no aggression or complexities that those 2 items bring to every day life.
I highly recommend this event to everyone, to do at least once in their life. It is the best bucket list experience of all.
