AfrikaBurn is the spectacular result of the creative expression of participants who gather once a year in the Tankwa Karoo to create a temporary city of art, theme camps, costume, music and performance.

"Make the walls to the toilet taller and maybe add a solar light so they aren’t so dark at night. If it’s practical, maybe adding a lighted walkway on the playa would be nice. I accidentally kicked so many rocks! Other than that, the even is beautiful! WIll be returning next year!"
