On Sunday, 26 April 2026, Durban’s premier comedy showcase returns to the BAT Centre for an evening that transcends the typical Sunday night routine. With the following day being a public holiday, we are extending the energy, sharpening the wit, and inviting you to experience the city's most curated theatre-style comedy event without the Monday morning deadline.


This April, we have assembled a roster that balances veteran mastery with the raw, high-impact energy of the circuit’s most exciting names:


  • LOGIE NAIDOO (Host): The night is anchored by the inimitable Logie Naidoo. A true statesman of Durban charm and timing, Logie brings a sophisticated, iconic presence to the stage.


  • SPENCER GOVENDER: A powerhouse of observation and a heavyweight performer who commands the room with ease.

Designed for a discerning audience, The Platform is hosted in the intimate, harbour-side setting of the BAT Centre. With seating strictly limited, the focus is on a high-quality, theatre-standard performance rather than a generic club vibe.

"Absolutely lovely evening..all comedian came with fresh material. Just stick to time as it's a Sunday ,show started very late. other wise all was well. The ladies toilets need maintenance as we had to be filling the toilets with buckets."

"Great show, The venue has so much of potential but needs some renovation, many seats were broken and the downstairs toilets wer not in working order. The atmosphere at the Bat Centre is fantastic plus it's a great location. Thank You"
