Performing Arts Collaborative Organization

About

Performing Arts Collaborative Organization (PACO) is a Bloemfontein-based initiative founded in 2021 with a bold mission to spotlight emerging theatre artists with exceptional potential.

At PACO, we believe in our slogan: Finding diamonds in the rough. We focus on identifying promising upcoming theatre creatives including writers, directors, actors, dancers, singers, designers and technical crews, and developing their work within a structured and professionally guided environment.

Our productions are amateur works staged under expert supervision, creating a disciplined yet supportive space where selected artists refine their craft and present their talent with confidence. We are committed to championing the underdogs and giving deserving talent the platform they have earned.

Join us as we discover, develop and celebrate the next generation of theatre excellence.

The PACO logo tells the story of our beginning and our belief in what is still to come.

The three interlocking diamonds represent the three founding members of Performing Arts Collaborative Organization: Paquot, WJ, and June. Each diamond stands for individual strength, vision, and commitment to the performing arts. Interlocked, they symbolize unity, collaboration, and the shared foundation on which PACO was built.

The intentional gap within the design carries equal meaning. It represents the space for the talent we have yet to discover. It is a reminder that PACO is not complete without the next diamond in the making. The gap reflects possibility, growth, and the continuous search for hidden brilliance.

Together, the diamonds and the space between them embody our purpose: finding diamonds in the rough and shaping them into something extraordinary.
