This event will bring together leading voices in South Africa’s creative industries to share practical knowledge and insights to help artists build sustainable, successful careers.

Founder of Music Exchange (MEX) and host of The Business of Entertainment on CapeTalk (567 AM).

Since May 2023, Martin has hosted this weekly show, attracting over 103,000 listeners. Each episode features award-winning creatives and industry leaders sharing valuable insights into the business of entertainment.


“We unpack what it really takes to make a living in this space,” says Myers. A UCT graduate and founder of the non-profit Music Exchange (MEX), Martin Myers has spent more than 30 years in the entertainment industry. Formerly with BMG/Sony Music, he has dedicated his career to artist development, music management, and public relations.


Through MEX, Martin continues to equip artists with the knowledge and skills to turn their passion into a sustainable profession.
