"Dear Bo, we don't know each other. My father also used Brylcreme copiously - for the same reason. Your play, with your cousin, is excellent, timeous and I'm so glad you use it to educate the youth. It should also heal the countless families, by confronting the unspoken pain. In 2014, after 150 years of separation, I organised 150 family members across the colour divide - to meet for 4 days and 4 nights in Komaggas. They came from Germany, Finland, England, Namibia and SA. The village put us up, without there being a B&B or Hotel. We had our own family TRC. We meet since then - not least to write Zara (ca 1780 - 1831), born Xaiggas, daughter of a Gariep Chief, back into history. She with her husband wrote the grammar of the Khoi language in the 1820s, invented the 'click' sound in writing, and translated the gospels into Khoi, published in Cape Town in 1831 - to be viewed in the CT National Library. ->> So your play inspires and for the sake of us all, should serve to inspire thousands of families yet to find what pieces they are made of. Should you want a chat I can be reached at [email protected]. I also have a website, just Google my name"

"Erica/Bo’s brilliant story has left an indelible mark on my soul. to be able to talk about a history through Wen families experience is so impactful and Bose characters are so incredibly rich and complex. This is one of the best performances I have seen!!! I hope EVERY one who loves the human experience, , including even more students? will have a chance to see this, learn from it, and be transformed by it. Thank you, Erika for sharing this gift of “Pieces. of Me”"
