Marcato Arts Foundation

Marcato Arts Foundation NPC is a community-driven performing arts organisation based in Kimberley, Northern Cape, dedicated to nurturing artistic excellence and widening access to the arts. Established to serve young people and emerging artists, particularly from under-resourced communities, Marcato provides structured training, mentorship, and performance opportunities across multiple art forms, with a strong foundation in music education.

Through projects, academies, festivals, and community concerts, Marcato Arts Foundation contributes to cultural development, social cohesion, and youth empowerment in the Northern Cape. Its long-term vision is to grow into a fully-fledged community arts hub, supporting sustainable artistic careers while enriching the cultural life of the region.
