The ARC of Franschhoek
About
ARC of Franschhoek is a regenerative tourism and conservation project based at the Berg River Dam in Franschhoek. Our mission is to create a space where nature, community, and architecture work together to restore one of the Cape Winelands’ most important ecological areas.
Your access pass directly supports:
• The development of 66 km of multi-use trails
• Local job creation in conservation and guiding
• Biodiversity protection and alien clearing
• Long-term community youth mentorship and skills development
• The regeneration of fynbos and heritage assets
Explore the Berg River Dam through curated hiking, running, MTB and horse-riding trails — beautifully designed to immerse you in the world’s rarest biodiversity.
Join us in shaping a new model of conservation-led tourism in the Cape Winelands.
