About
Stadskoor / -Choir / -iKwayara is Cape Town's newest project choir, bringing together 40+ singers from the city bowl under the direction of Pieter Bezuidenhout. Founded in 2025, the choir was created with a vision to offer a creative outlet and to build community through music; a welcoming space where people unite through a shared love of choral singing.
Stadskoor aims to grow appreciation for choral music by presenting fun, varied, exciting programmes that broaden the possibilities of the medium while nurturing connection and a space for its members to sing their hearts out.
