About

Carmen Stevens Foundation

The Carmen Stevens Foundation is dedicated to nourishing young lives through education and food security. Since 2011, we’ve provided daily school meals to underprivileged children in South Africa, ensuring they have the energy and dignity to learn and thrive. What began with 400 children has grown to over 25,000 learners fed every school day, made possible through the generosity of local and international supporters. Every donation helps us restore hope, uplift communities, and give children the opportunity to reach their full potential.

"I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. Not only was it a difference to the everyday stress and pace in the school, but it was also a therapeutic session. I also learnt a new skill that I could change into a hobby. I definitely would recommend this to all teachers. "

"At first I was irritated with the amount of folding that took place but when I saw what I could get as a final product I was elated and worked till I finished."

"The workshop was well planned and very well executed. Apart from the fun that we had, it was so therapeutic and much needed. It took our minds away from the challenges and pressure of our everyday lives and gave us the opportunity to relax and do something out of the ordinary. Munch appreciated."

"Wonderful and enjoyable event. For the benefit of a child challenged by socio-economic factors. The idea was a good one, I applaud you."
