Ralph Borland Studio

Ralph Borland Studio is a small art and design studio in Woodstock, Cape Town. Our projects range from permanent public installations, to movable and interactive sculptures in a range of scales, to writing, research and exhibition curation. We typically work with a network of collaborators to combine handcraft with computer-controlled processes, making use of Virtual Reality modelling tools, 3D-printing, laser-cutting and other industrial processes, as well as film, sound and music. Ralph Borland's work is in the collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art, and has been exhibited at the Zeitz MoCAA and Dakar Biennale.
