The Poet’s Well

The Poet’s Well is an organisation that is foregrounded in the necessitation to

provide arts and entertainment alongside education. Founded and stablished in

2024 by Thabiso Mhlongo, a prolific poet and writer, the organisation seeks to

avail itself not only as a beacon of hope to creatives, especially poets, and other

lovers of creative arts, but also as a rich source of opportunities, skills,

knowledge, growth, from which they can extract support. Hence, the name of

the organisation is an allegory for a place where a poet draws water from to

quench their thirst, symbolising fulfilment, and to water their crops,

metaphorically representing holistic development.
