About
Recitals and a range of music activities are presented at IBSP on an entirely non-profit basis, with the objective of providing excellent opportunities for performers and audience by recreating the format of an intimate recital, in which much of the great piano repertoire was originally composed.
All of the performances presented by Ian Burgess-Simpson over th last 30 years focus on the talent of the artist, in combination with a high-quality piano prepared personally for each pianist and program, to give the audience a profound musical experience.
These are combined with a range of activities supporting teachers, students and artists to support the health of the classical music network in Cape Town.
