Belekazana Fungi Conservatory (The BFC) is a nature-based initiative rooted in the Amathole mountains of South Africa. We use the wisdom and wonder of fungi to empower people through education, ecological innovation, and transformative experiences.

Our work ranges from mushroom cultivation workshops for schools and communities, to immersive adult retreats that explore creativity, healing, and sustainability — all guided by our belief that fungi are not just food or medicine, but teachers of resilience and regeneration.
