Smiling Child

Smiling Child is a registered non-profit company dedicated to providing life-changing learning opportunities to 30 underprivileged children, aged 8 to 15, in Strand, Western Cape. We utilise a specialised curriculum, to support children who have experienced trauma. Focusing on literacy, numeracy, and essential life skills to help them reach the equivalent of a Grade 3 education. We aim to prepare them for successful integration into government schools. Breakfast and lunch are also provided, often the only meals our learners receive due to their challenging socio-economic circumstances. Smiling Child Profile
