Respek Nomzamo
About
Last year we planted and gifted 270 spekboom to the Nomzamo Primary school next to the N2. We ran a very successful day with the learners and it was gratifying to see it happen. But we have learnt a lot from this experience. One is we need to protect the spekboom, so the school put up a fence. The second is that even spekboom needs regular water so we gifted them a 50m hosepipe.
We are fundraising now to plant 100 more spekboom for gaps in hedge the Primary school. The spekboom cost R100 each.
We are planning a full day again where the kids can participate in a full fun day, making them feel part of the green dream.
