ABOUT MARY J FOURIEMary J Fourie is a Millennial change-maker and founder of My Journey 2 Freedom. She has experience as both a change-maker on a journey to fulfil her purpose, as well as a Financial Planner and Coach equipped with the tools to make it happen.
Mary has two NQF5 Higher Certificate’s in Financial Planning obtained from Milpark Business School and is a Registered Financial Practitioner™ with the Financial Planning Institute Southern Africa (FPI). Mary passed all Regulatory Examinations with flying colours. She also has a Leadership & Coach Training qualification from Star Leadership (Pty) Ltd, is credentialled with the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and is an accredited iEQ9 Enneagram Practitioner.
With a passion for growing coaching in South Africa, she sits as a volunteer on the local board of directors of the South African Charter Chapter of the ICF and aligns herself with their definition of Coaching which is: “Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

We work with people to think about and plan their money and their life. Our passion is to work with those we call change-makers, the ones who are up to something inspiring, with a vision to contribute something of value that will change the world in some way.
We help our clients shift from feeling overwhelmed by their responsibilities, fears and uncertainty to feeling confident that they have a plan, are in control and know what small steps to take to create the future that they want for themselves, those they love and to fulfil their purpose.
We're known for our independent, disruptive thinking that challenges the status quo and allows us to provide a neutral, fee-only and solutions-agnostic service that we can deliver to individuals, couples and families as well as businesses who believe that taking care of their employees financial wellbeing through empowering financial education is part of their change-making mission and vision.
