Bona uBuntu

The Bona uBuntu Programme (NPO 313-113) is an empowerment and education initiative that aims at improving the quality of education and integration of visually impaired children and their support systems in the Eastern Cape.

Our mission is to ensure that partially sighted and blind children develop to their full potential and participate in an inclusive society, at home, school and in their communities.

The primary focus of our programme, which was established in 2017, is to work alongside various stakeholders, and within existing government and civil society structures to create sustainable improvement & empowerment within the disability sector.
