Bottled Brushstrokes
About
Jade Jacobsohn is a South African artist, anthropologist, and systems thinker whose creative practice explores the intersection of perception, memory, and meaning. With over 15 years’ experience working across the African continent in education, environmental sustainability, and behaviour change, Jade brings a deep curiosity about how humans make sense of the world — through their senses, through stories, and through systems.
Her academic grounding in Anthropology, Environment and Development (Rhodes University, University College London) informs both her artistic and facilitation work. Crossed Wires draws from this blend — inviting participants to explore the hidden links between sensation and memory, and to translate fleeting inner experiences into visual form.
