9th Planetary Defense Conference

The 9th IAA Planetary Defense Conference is a global gathering of scientists, space experts, and decision-makers, taking place in Stellenbosch from 6–10 May 2025. Hosted by the International Academy of Astronautics, the conference focuses on how we can work together to detect and protect our planet from asteroids and other space threats. With exciting talks, international collaboration, and real-world planning exercises, it's all about keeping Earth safe — and inspiring the next generation of planetary defenders!
