Intlombe Visited is a doorway to accessing the ancient musics of my people. This practice is rooted in the traditions of our ancestors; it accentuates music as a modality to access healing and interaction with the ancestors. Traditionally, Intlombe Yakokwethu is captured in ceremonies like diviners' ceremonies and rites of passage for girls and boys. It is to this light that I present this offering as a gesture of gratitude as I return to the land of my birth. I am honored to share this songbook of my people together with other global sounds that I have been encountering in my international career.
