"Wonderful rugby festival, beautiful facilities and grounds at Grey. Wonderful catering options etc - a really high potential event for the eastern cape. Only negative thing was the quality of the refereeing. It was abysmal. I suspect the ref unions are spread a bit thin at that time - especially with North South going on at Paul Roos, so the Grey festival unfortunately had too many novice development refs, who were simply not up to the task. Really tough for those boys on who put so much into their sport - to be faced with such incompetence on the field. "
