Kirstenbosch Botanical Society

The Kirstenbosch Branch of the Botanical Society brings people together to know, grow, protect and enjoy Cape Town’s wondrous indigenous plant life.

We’re a thriving branch of the Botanical Society of South Africa, with more than 6 000 members. And our members get involved in conservation projects across Cape Town to protect our Cape Floral Kingdom – with a focus on giving volunteer support at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden.
