School of Rock Parktown North is a performance-based music school where students learn by playing the music they love, alongside other musicians.

Our unique SongFirst® approach combines individual music lessons with band rehearsals and live performances, helping students develop real musical skills while building confidence, creativity and stage experience.

From young beginners picking up an instrument for the first time to experienced teen and adult musicians ready to perform live, our programmes create a pathway for every stage of the musical journey.

Students learn guitar, bass, drums, keys and vocals, supported by experienced instructors and a global music education system that includes the School of Rock Method, Method App and regular live performance opportunities.

At the heart of School of Rock is one simple idea: the stage is the ultimate teacher.
