Queer Surf Cape Town

Join for our first meetup of the year, and this time, we're getting crafty! We're collabing with Muizenberg Gentlemen's Lace and Surf Club, for some Japanese boro style visible mending. As always, no experience needed - just bring a torn item of clothing, and scraps of fabric that are bigger than the tear. Everything else will be provided.

Afterwards, we'll head down to the beach for a surf. For those who need gear, we'll meet at Lifestyle Surf Shop first, then all head down to the beach to grab rash vests and paddle out together. No surf experience needed either! If anyone is a complete newbie, or wants some help catching waves, we'll have folks there to help :)

Logistics:

Crafting: 8-9am, at The Commons, Muizenberg.

Surfing: 9am outside Lifestyle Surf Shop, Muizenberg for those who need gear.
