Join us for our monthly queer surf meetup at Muizenberg beach. All boards, all bodies welcome. No surf experience needed - we have folks available to coach, give you a push onto waves, or just keep an eye on everyone in the water.
Logistics:
If you need gear, meet at Lifestyle Surf Shop, Muizenberg at 8:30.
If you have your own gear, meet on the beach in front of Gary's Surf Shop / Hang Ten Cafe at Muizenberg beach, ready to paddle out.
We all do a quick warm up together, then there will be a short coaching session for those who want it, or a free surf for those who are comfortable paddling out on their own. Or join to sit on the beach and bring vibes :) We usually surf for around an hour to an hour and a half, then meet up after for coffee and snacks (at own cost). If the weather is good, we'll picnic on the beach. If it's terrible, we'll find a coffee shop on the beach front.
