VREDENDAL FCS

The training would be centered on SAPS members particularly our first responders (VISPOL members) and social workers on the laws that governs children particularly, the Children’s Act and Domestic Violence Act. The aim of this training is to decrease the vacuum in capacity of members when dealing with children and families on the applicable laws especially their roles and responsibilities of service providers. This capacity building training is therefore relevant and necessary to ensure that members fulfills their duties and responsibilities as prescribed by the relevant laws and policies. 20 participants has been allocated to social workers and community workers working with children in Cedeberg and Matzikama.
