Nov 5 2024 - Bookmark the date! We will be hosting a special launch event for our new digital public participation platform Ripl at @jackblackbeer @jackblackstaproom in Diep River, Cape Town on Tuesday, November 5, at 6 pm.

Planned highlights for the evening include premiers of two film shorts, an expert panel discussion, an audience Q&A focused on Ripl and the power of public participation in opposition to mining applications, as well as an auction of a limited edition series of epic framed photographs of the West Coast to raise funds for PTWC.

Public entrance will be free, but there will also be a raffle to win some great hampers with prizes from us, @gone_outdoor, and @jackblackbeer and every attendee will be treated to a free Jack Black brew on arrival. Our merch will also be on sale, including our clothing and new range of eco-friendly bags.

Join us for the evening to mark the official launch of Ripl, meet the PTWC team and help us celebrate another successful year of our collective community pushing back against unscrupulous mining practices on our beloved Weskus.
