Precision Forestry Symposium Organizing Committee

This symposium, organised by the Department of Forestry and Wood Science, Stellenbosch University, will be held in Stellenbosch, bringing together experts, researchers, and industry professionals to explore advancements in precision forestry technologies and practices. Discussed topics will include remote sensing, data analytics, and integrating new technologies to enhance forest management, sustainability, and productivity. The programme consists of 3 main parts: a workshop aimed at PhD students and young researchers, a day of commercial workshops including in-depth sessions with suppliers of sensors, platforms, systems and software, and the scientific symposium (Keynotes and Presentations).
