Mosaic, founded in 2008, is a unique organization dedicated to realizing its vision of transforming orphan care across Africa. This innovative approach combines direct orphan and vulnerable child (OVC)care, partnerships with like-minded organizations, and the development of industry-best systems. 

What sets Mosaic apart is its systemic approach, which allows it to make a profound impact without compromising its presence on the ground. Mosaic’s families live in homes surrounding one of its three community centres in South Africa.  

Mosaic collaborates with local organizations, providing them with mentorship, blueprints, guidance, and established systems to implement its OVC-care model in their communities. This three-pronged approach is unparalleled in the orphan care sector.
