"We had such an awesome afternoon, just wish we'd managed to get there earlier than we did. The disabled drop off was awesome as my dad is 94, and uses a wheelchair when we go out. He did struggle a bit to get to the Gents toilet as it was down a step or 2, but that was not a big deal. He thoroughly enjoyed the day out. We just love the bagpipes and drummers and the whole procession was absolutely awesome and professional. The kilts and the full Scottish dress was magnificent. Really got our Scottish blood pumping with goosebumps and tears. Unfortunately, because of us getting there late, my granddaughter missed the kid's fun, but she did enjoy browsing the stalls. Next year we will definitely get there early enough to fully enjoy the whole day as we only saw the flag race and the mass band. The abundance of food and drinks stalls were amazing! Thankyou for making my dad's day special, he was singing out to one of the songs "Sarie Marais". It's so unique performed by the band! Warm regards- Jenny (Howick)"
