Playtopia

Playtopia is an adults play yard of video games, custom controllers, immersive art and a summit grandstanding some of the world's most precious video game talent sharing their processes and thoughts on the industry, from the developers point of view.

Now in it's 6th year, Playtopia Festival has become one of the world's most beloved video game festivals, honoring the creative work of indie devs. With a focus on the progression of Africa into this industry, it attracts international top talent and enthusiasts to come and exhibit, discuss and admire one another's achievements and indaba what the future beholds for this art form.

There is a 2 day arcade exhibit open to the general public featuring over 150 games curated from around the world along with an extensive showcase of custom controller games and immersive art exhibits.
