THE RETURN OF THE HIP HOP FLOOR ??

Soweto, the culture is calling. And we heard you.

The epicentre of SA Hip Hop arrives in the heart of the movement as DJ Speedsta & Friends present Hip Hop Floor in collaboration with Rémy Martin Cognac, taking over Sugar People Soweto this March.

On Saturday, 21 March 2026, Vilakazi Street transforms into a curated celebration of sound, culture and community. With elevated production, iconic energy and a premium lifestyle experience, this is where hip hop is experienced at its highest level.

Expect heavyweight DJs, seamless vibes, signature moments and a crowd that moves as one. This isn’t just another event — it’s a tribute to the music, the movement and the memories that shaped South African hip hop.

The vibe is legendary. The setting is historic. The takeover is official.

"The food menu was amazing, so grateful to be able to find healthy food to eat thank you. The Venue was just Beeeautiful wow wow! The service from the waiters was for the gods ?? Dj Speedsta was a host with the most, super amazing human. Refreshing to witness authentic souls here on earth. Such a Gem. The entire vibe, environment, music, people, decor, bouncers, host @ entrance of the establishment up to the ticket lady & gent were all just pure joy?? Thank you SO much. ... the ticket thing always seems to be a small issue though, trying to get them upon release haai No ways! Also the 'theme' idea was a taugh one for me, unfortunately I had already picked an outfit for the following event then when details come through I'm scrambling for black wintery clothing (which I don't own) & can't buy because 'high unemployment' rates in the third world ??
