Cape Town Chamber Choir

Since its founding in 2010, the Cape Town Chamber Choir has established itself as one of the Cape's most distinguished a cappella adult ensembles. With approximately 30 highly skilled members – all experienced choristers, many of whom sang in South Africa's leading university choirs – the choir has built a reputation for exceptional musicality and technical precision.

Currently under the inspired direction of Antoinette Huyssen, an acclaimed soprano, and Cape Town Opera chorus master, the choir brings together voices from across the greater Cape Town area, from Melkbos to Muizenberg, from Somerset West to Sea Point.

Known for their varied and accessible programming of outstanding quality, the Cape Town Chamber Choir continues to enchant audiences with their unique blend of musical genres and cultural influences, creating moving musical experiences that inspire a deeper appreciation for choral music.
