Hae Emakhaya

Hae Emakhaya is an Eastern Cape-based organisation celebrating and preserving African heritage through food, research, storytelling and community-led projects. Rooted in local and indigenous knowledge systems, we create spaces for cultural exchange, learning and connection through food, land and community.

Founded by Lipato_umpheki a food research, multidisciplinary artist and cultural practitioner based in, South Africa.
