Imbadu The gathering and Homemade Jams, invite you to a Fun Fundraiser geared towards the building of a Giant potjie sculpture at Afrikaburn this coming April. The fundraiser will take a form of event, raffle, live music by Amy Brown, Soulitude and Friends and some amazing tunes by our resident DJ "Minister of Fun". There will also be drinks, clothing by local designers and collectors and potjie Kos for sale.
The Potjie sculpture, inspired by the three legged cooking pot, will create a stage space for performance and storytelling and hold a safe ceremonial platform for the gathering of the community for group discussion and creative self-expression.
