The Mystery Box Dinner series is an exciting and interactive hands-on cooking experience, combining the famous “Mystery Box” Challenge as seen on TV, which challenges contestants to cook an amazing dish within a prescribed amount of time, using mystery ingredients that are revealed seconds prior to the commencement of the challenge.


These dinners embrace this concept, where participants are only given the cuisine of the Masterclass and discover the dish, ingredients, methods and techniques along the way.


So, get ready for great evening of fun, food and mystery with Ben Ungermann. A 3-course dinner experience that kicks off with Bubbly and canapes on arrival. The Mystery Box and French /Beef themed masterclass will then be introduced. At the end of the masterclass, you will sit down to enjoy your meal/creation and then finally be dazzled with a dessert prepared by Chef Ben. Wine is paired throughout the experience, as we celebrate great South African wines.

"Ben was incredible, warm and friendly and we had the best time! The atmosphere was really pleasant. However, we were only offered canapes twice and while they were delicious, they were tiny. Also, it stated that the evening would conclude with a dessert prepared by Chef Ben, which didn't happen... We thoroughly enjoyed the time and loved the food but I feel slightly disappointed as the full experience that was advertised was not delivered. A big selling point for me was a dessert prepared by Ben, and I never got it... "
