International Women's Federation of Commerce and Industry South Africa
About
IWFCI South Africa was established in April 2022 with the purpose of advancing women in business. We aim to do this by developing women in business from the early stages to helping them become export-ready. IWFCI Global recently celebrated its 30-year anniversary and is a non-profit, non-government member-based organisation, founded in 1992 by Diana Abruzzi in Melbourne, Australia. It was established for the purpose of supporting women entering business and developing trade across the globe. Today, IWFCI remains first and foremost an empowering opportunity for women to meet and engage with like-minded entrepreneurs to grow their businesses in a supportive network.
At present, IWFCI South Africa is one of fourteen chapters globally and serves as the gateway chapter into Africa. Our mandate is to identify and support women entrepreneurs in preparing, promoting and positioning their businesses from inception to becoming global market players and leaders - to help women in business to grow their businesses, identify gaps in their current positions and where they want to be, and how to achieve their export potential.
