The Daisy Jones Bar

"Having travelled up to Stellies from Blouberg, I guess we were very lucky that Tim and his band decided to do an "ad-hoc unplugged" version of their planned show. Which was great - considering the circumstances beyond their control! However, as there was a hiccup between Eskom and their local power supply station - there was zero power at The Daisy Jones Bar from opening at 2pm right through until we left at 19h00! Maybe a generator needs to be invested in for a live performing venue??? just saying.......The staff were apologetic and luckily there was a wood-fired pizza oven so we could snack. But to sit there in the dark and then needing to move outside, kinda put a bit of a damper on our expectations of visiting the venue for the very first time :-( Luckily it was a warm day, so not a hardship, the setting was lovely, but it would have been a different scenario had it been miserable weather.......we would have missed out and left. Hopefully this won't be the case for the forthcoming months with load shedding."
